Eastern Community Campus

Cardiff and Vale College will be delivering all the courses and vocational training for learners who are 16 + at the Eastern Community Campus CAVC Sixth Form.

For those who live in East Cardiff, this state-of-the-art campus is right on your doorstep and you can expect the same quality of teaching, level of support and great facilities that Cardiff and Vale College offers across all of our campuses.

Located on Trowbridge Road, the new campus is set to open in January 2018. You will be able to start your first term in September 2017 based either at Eastern High School or at one of CAVC’s other sites to ensure all requirements are met for the first term of your course. In January you will then be able to move in to the brand new campus. Independent Living Skills learners will start their course in January.

You will benefit from excellent facilities including modern classrooms, flexible learning spaces, the very latest science and technology facilities, catering outlet and sports facilities including 3G flood lit pitch with grandstand.

The shared site and innovative partnership between Eastern High School and the College will create an inspirational environment that will encourage young people to continue to learn and provide a smooth transition from GCSEs to post-16 education and training. The new campus is funded by the council’s and Welsh Government’s 21st Century Schools programme.
