What we offer - talks, workshops & advice

As well as providing CAVC course information and literature to your school, our Student Recruitment Team also offer a range of ways to engage your students to provide information and guidance about Cardiff and Vale College:

We offer:

  • General School Assemblies - providing an overview of CAVC and its courses
  • Application workshops and student support
  • Specific and specialist talks - (e.g. Apprenticeships, HE, Rugby Academy)

Assemblies

Assembly sessions can be arranged for your entire year group, or for a specific group of students who would like to find out more about opportunities to study with Cardiff and Vale College.

These sessions will give all essential information to students about Cardiff and Vale College, but sessions can also be specifically tailored if students have a particular interest in a subject area. Sessions such as these can also be followed up with an application workshop in school to assist students when applying to CAVC.

Application Workshops

We can attend your school and assist pupils with the completion of CAVC application forms. This can be a great way to make sure that your students have all the information they need to choose the right subject and help ensure they are applying for the correct course.

Application workshops can be conducted as computer or paper based sessions, depending on the school facilities available.
