Widening Participation

Widening Participation

The Widening Participation team provides a range of re-engagement and progression opportunities for young people between 16-25 who may not be in education, training or employment.

The Widening Participation programme offers the following:

Provision

Fast Forward – The Fast Forward programmes focus on personal and social skills development, work related education and improving essential skills for work and life. The programme is targeted at young people who are undecided on their learning/career pathway.  Students who successfully complete the programme have access to a unique Passport to Progression – which guarantees an interview for a course they wish to progress to.  The course can be accessed throughout the year but typically: October, January and April.
