Cardiff and Vale College Prince’s Trust Team help out at ValePlus

A Prince’s Trust team from Cardiff and Vale Apprenticeships, the work-based learning arm of Cardiff and Vale College, has raised nearly £250 to help a local educational service.

The Prince’s Trust Team 64 from the Vale spent a week working with ValePlus on High Street in Barry. ValePlus is a local charity that provides educational, social and recreational day services for people with learning disabilities in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff.

The team helped service users with numeracy tasks, computer work, gardening and arts and crafts. After raising £240 with a sponsored row the team were also able to take different groups to Techniquest and ten pin bowling at Hollywood Bowl.
