Welcome Norwegian students

This month Cardiff and Vale College welcomed four Norwegian students as they enrolled for AS Level studies. Four Norwegian students from Cardiff's twin county of Hordaland study at Cardiff and Vale College every year, as the college is now in the Sixteenth year of an exchange programme.

The four Norwegian students who enrolled this month to study AS Levels are:

Frida Tveit, who will study Biology, Chemistry, Maths, Physics & French; Hanna Bolstad studying Maths, Media Studies & Business Studies; Rebecca Olseth studying Law, Media Studies, Sociology & English and Sondre Ådnanes studying Maths, Biology & Geography.

All the students are staying with host families in Penylan, Rumney and Llanrumney.

Anthony Houlston Clark, Cardiff and Vale College’s Hordaland contact and Maths lecturer said, "The Norwegian students last year were incredibly enthusiastic and positive and had a great time in Wales, one student achieved 3 A’s and 2 B’s. We're honoured to have another four adventurous students from Norway to study with us this year and are sure that they will enjoy college life in Cardiff."

Students from Cardiff and Vale College will also be invited to put themselves forward to visit Norway next Spring.
