About this course

This course is designed for adult learners.

What you will study

The aim of this course is to develop the skills needed to undertake other courses, gain employment and develop your career. You will improve your communication skills, increase your confidence and motivation.

As part of this course, you will improve your speaking and listening, reading and writing. The course covers grammar, punctuation and spelling. You will learn how to write formal letters, articles and leaflets. 

Course fee per year

Part-time enrolment fee: £10.00

Teaching and assessment methods

The qualification is assessed via a controlled assessment. Learners will complete this whilst attending college, under supervised conditions.
