Parents Evenings

The team is available to attend 'Parents' and 'Options' evenings at school to offer guidance and advice to any parents or students wanting to know about opportunities to study at CAVC.

Assembly Presentations

We offer an information session about the College which can be delivered to an entire year group or to a targeted group of students identified by the school. Depending on your requirements, this can consist of a short 10 minute presentation or can be extended to cover an entire lesson, where we can also offer guidance on the process of applying to CAVC online.

Mock Interviews

The Schools Liaison Team is experienced in delivering mock interview sessions for students. The sessions can be arranged through Careers Wales or directly with a member of the team.

School Challenge Competitions

Get involved with the CAVC schools’ challenges. These annual competitions are run across a range of different subject from Sport to Creative. Pupils can develop skills while competing with other schools at our CAVC campuses in our fantastic facilities. Email schools@cavc.ac.uk for the latest on schools’ challenges.

CAVC offers a range of Apprenticeships in a number of different sectors. We can deliver advice and guidance sessions for anyone wanting to know more about the benefits and routes into Apprenticeships and the process of securing an Apprenticeship placement.

Our exciting CAVC Sport Academies, including our Rugby and Football Academies are run by experienced sports professionals.

Sessions informing pupils of these opportunities which sit alongside their studies at CAVC can be delivered independently or as a general CAVC Sports Academies talk.

Aerospace Engineering

The Aerospace Industry in Wales is growing rapidly, employing over 20,000 people in Wales.

CAVC offers a range of programmes in this area based at our industry-standard facilities at ICAT (International Centre forAerospace Training). Our Aerospace information session offers pupils the chance to find out more about this industry and the training opportunities available.
